The BandA fresh, young, London-based wedding and party band; The Favourites are ready to get your event jumping!The band take their finely honed and energetic act to weddings, parties and corporate events all over the UK and beyond, so no one has to miss out!Members of The Favourites have worked with and performed alongside artists and organisations as diverse as The Darkness, Gomez, The Maccabees, The Gossip, Stereo MCs, Lamb, Faithless, Fanfarlo, Eliza Carthy, Calvin Johnson and Abbey Road studios and can boast more than 50 years playing experience between them.Be it a wedding, festival, corporate event or party; whatever you're planning, The Favourites will take care of the entertainment so all you have to do is enjoy your evening! The band even offers a bespoke laptop DJ service for the intervals. The Favourites love what they do, and will make sure you love it too!Performance InformationLine-up: male lead vocal, guitar, bass, drums, 3x male backing vocalsPerformance duration: 2x 45min sets or 3x 30 min sets (or tailored to suit your event)FAQsHow much do The Favourites charge? Each individual client is provided with a bespoke quote based on their function's timings, the venue's location, and the date of the function. Please send us an email with as much detail about the day as possible and we'll get back to you, or just give us a call to talk it through.What is The Favourites' availability? Send us your date and we'll see! Due to the popularity of the summer wedding season and the Christmas party season, we advise giving us as much notice as possible, but dont worry if you havent got much time - try us anyway!How much space do you need? We can fit into a space of about 3.5x3.5 metres, but remember to leave as much space as possible for dancing! If you're in any doubt as to the suitability of The Favourites for your intended room then please drop us a line.How long do you need to set up?The Favourites require a minimum of 1 hour to set up and sound check so please factor this into your planning. There may be a small extra charge if an early start is required as this can often turn an evening's work into commitment for a full day.I havent booked a DJ, do I need to? No! The Favourites can offer a bespoke mp3 DJ service for a small extra charge! Our playlist will be designed to suit your event as well as complimenting our own live set. That is not to say that DJs dont work really well - they can warm up the crowd for us, take requests and add that extra dimension to your evening. If your budget will stretch to it, consider hiring one.Can we come and see you play live before we book you? We will endeavour to make this happen, but, as the mainstay of our work is private functions, this may be hard depending on the season. However, a live video recording of one of our bigger gigs will soon be available on this site for all potential clients to view.How far do you travel and do you include travel costs in your quote? We'll travel as far as we need to - Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Europe wherever! But please be aware that travel costs will be built in to the quote we give you. If your gig is in London or the South East UK, most of the travel costs will be absorbed by us.Are there any hidden costs? A full break down of what you are paying for will be provided with every quote so there is no danger of any nasty surprises after the event. We strive to be honest, reasonable and competitive with every quote we give but please help us to do so by providing as much information as possible at the time of enquiry!Will you learn new songs for us?If we think we can do them justice, then certainly! We will do everything we can to make your event as special as possible.Can you change your look for our event?The Favourites aim to present a professional and smart look for all our live appearances, but are happy to dress down should you prefer. Just let us know!
